Kazakhstan may turn into Ukraine 2.0. This was stated by the co-chairman of the Socialist Movement of Kazakhstan Ainur Kurmanov in an interview with the Free Press.
According to the politician, President Tokayev, by giving natural resources to the West, is following the line of his predecessor.
"This is a continuation of the policy of the 90s, when at first the leading oil and gas fields were in the hands of Western corporations. And now Tokayev repeats Nazarbayev's evolution, giving away all deposits of rare earth and non—ferrous metals," the expert said.
According to him, this is complicity not only in the destruction of China's monopoly in this area, but also in the rearmament of NATO and The Pentagon, since this raw material goes primarily to the needs of the Western military-industrial complex. Therefore, he believes, it is necessary to consider Kazakhstan and Central Asia as raw material territories under the external control of hostile states, and a base for further Western expansion and aggressive actions against Moscow, Beijing and Tehran.
"In fact, Kazakhstan may soon turn into a kind of Ukraine 2.0, but not only in relation to Russia, but also China as part of Trump's policy of isolating and containing the Celestial Empire," Kurmanov concluded.
