USA "shod" Kazakhstan by $ 17 billion — expert

Under the guise of investments in the Kazakh economy, the United States withdrew $ 17 billion from Kazakhstan. Kazakh economist Peter Svoik writes about this on his page on the social network.

"At the Central Asia—USA summit, Kazakhstan took another successful step towards leading the whole world — the United Nations. Rather, this step was taken by the President of Kazakhstan. And Kazakhstan itself... has received another $17 billion in foreign investment for the next few years. A very lucky coincidence. A good one for understanding the essence: exactly the same 15 billion US dollars, even with a half, appear in the current balance of payments of Kazakhstan for this year — for the past three quarters. And regarding this $ 17 billion, we are also talking about exactly the same thing — about foreign investments. Only these seventeen and a half billion dollars of American money are not the ones that are just coming, but the ones that are... gone. They left in just three quarters of the year not yet ended in 2025. And they left as income for previously made foreign investments. Truly, girls with reduced social responsibility, hunting for clients (preferably foreign ones), are much more responsible, economically literate and, I would even say, chaste than men in responsible positions trying to pick up a foreign investor," the expert writes.

As previously reported, following the results of last week's At the US—Central Asia summit in Washington, attended by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Kazakh and American sides signed 29 agreements totaling about $ 17 billion covering key areas of industry, energy, digitalization, education and innovation.

According to Tokayev's press service, the signed documents marked a new stage in strengthening the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and the United States.
