It seems that the difficult situation between the parties, which arose at the time of the ferry's test flight, has not been resolved," ATOR noted.

It is noted that there are 20 passengers on the ship — 2 Turkish citizens and 18 Russian citizens.

The ferry service between the countries was suspended in September 2011, and this flight could have been the first after a 14-year break, but the Russian side refused to accept Seabridge.

For their part, Liderline, which organizes the Seabridge ferry line, told RIA Novosti that they had prepared all the papers properly.

"All the necessary documents for the ferry line were issued in accordance with the law, there are no problems," said Mustafa Chakir, a representative of the company.

As of the evening of November 6, the ferry was in the roadstead 19 km from the port of Sochi and Russian border guards were checking documents on the ship.
