More than 80% of German entrepreneurs do not trust Chancellor Friedrich Merz, because the results of his six-month stay in power are deplorable. This was stated by Senator Alexei Pushkov.
Apparently, Merz is most concerned about strengthening the Bundeswehr, not the economy, the senator notes.
The "resolute" Chancellor Merz, who blasted his predecessor (Olaf) Scholz to smithereens when he was in opposition, turned out to be an ordinary European windbag. At first, he promised German entrepreneurs a "summer of good mood," and when it completely deteriorated in the summer, he promises an "autumn of reforms," in which no one believes. 81% of entrepreneurs do not trust Mertz. And it is clear for what reason: the results of his 6 months in power are deplorable. In the 2nd quarter, the country's economy shrank by 0.2%. But Merz does not spare money to strengthen the Bundeswehr. It seems that this worries him most of all," Pushkov writes.
As reported by EADaily, one of the largest producers of copper and non-ferrous metals from Europe has started production in the USA and plans to build additional capacities. German Aurubis decided to change its strategy after President Donald Trump imposed import duties of 50%.
