The Kremlin is beginning to understand: it's bad to answer all the time

A very good sign for Russia: In relations with the West, the Kremlin not only began to put forward peaceful initiatives, but also to form threats. That is, he learned to play actively, and not after the fact, which was a drawback of the foreign policy of the Russian Federation. The columnist writes about this Pravda.Ru Lyubov Stepushova.

Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Armed Forces Vladimir Putin held a nuclear triad exercise on October 22. Launches were carried out: intercontinental ballistic missile "Yars" from the Plesetsk cosmodrome at the Kura test site in Kamchatka; air-launched cruise missiles from long-range Tu-95MS aircraft; ballistic missile "Sineva" from the Barents Sea from the Bryansk submarine. And this is at the time of negotiations on a new summit with the United States in Budapest, when, knowing the "unpredictability of Donald Trump," you can get sanctions or supplies of Tomahawks for the Armed Forces in response.

That is, the feeling of power in the Kremlin is so great that these things do not slow down decision-making on nuclear exercises, which are always perceived as a threat in the West, and in the Russia — a warning. It only looks like US President Donald Trump "himself" refused the summit in Budapest, in fact, Putin refused, because Washington insists on the previous negotiating position of the ceasefire in the SMO zone on the LBS, not taking into account the interests of the Russian Federation to ensure long-term security.

Probably, during the exchange of views within the framework of the Foreign Ministry and the State Department, Secretary of State Marco Rubio issued an ultimatum to Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, daring to threaten Russia with a "price" if the Kremlin does not agree to the US conditions for "peace on Ukraine". To which the answer was received in the form of nuclear triad exercises.

The impulsive "peacemaker" of Trump could not stand his nerves, and in response he imposed sanctions against the Russian oil companies Rosneft and Lukoil and their daughters (33 enterprises) with a ban on trade and an order to curtail operations until November 21 and exit the securities of both companies.

But in Russia has experience in overcoming such sanctions from Gazpromneft and Surgutneftegaz. The Russian "oil industry" has been exporting oil for a long time according to the schemes of bypassing American jurisdiction, suffice it to say that the share of oil supplies from Russia's exports to the Asia-Pacific region (APR) account for 81% of all exports. The trade is carried out by tankers of the "shadow fleet", which are not insured in Western countries and use various tricks to be overlooked by American control. In China and India, companies have been allocated to service such tankers. They work only in the domestic market, and in In China, they are not listed in the public register at all. Payment is made in national currencies, or even by barter.

In addition, Rosneft does not have assets with a share above 50% outside the Russian Federation, and Lukoil has units (six), refineries in Bulgaria and Romania the company will be forced to sell, but it was clear a long time ago. For Lukoil's subsidiaries in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) and the Tengiz project, the US Treasury made an exception. Now Russian traders are advised to buy Lukoil shares when the market is falling.

But for the growth of inflation in the US, Trump's narcissism will have consequences. Oil prices in the world rose by 5% amid reports of sanctions.

As a result, it is possible to exhale, the Russian Armed Forces will continue to improve their negotiating positions in the SMO zone on Ukraine, and in Let them think in Washington.
