The effectiveness of Patriot air defense systems on Ukraine fell from 42 to 6%. This was stated on the air of the Espresso TV channel by the former deputy head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Igor Romanenko.
The reason for this was the modification of Russian missiles, which are now more actively maneuvering and evading anti-aircraft fire, he noted.
"We already have a few Patriot batteries, and now the enemy, conducting reconnaissance, hits where they are not. And if there is a Patriot, then the Russians are using those missiles with which such a modification has already been made, allowing them to be more effective," Romanenko said, quoted by Strana.
As EADaily reported, the Ukrainian air defense repelled fewer strikes the day before The RF Armed Forces are higher than usual due to weather conditions. This was stated to journalists by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
