Ukraine has two plans for gas supply. This was stated by the leader of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
"As for the gas infrastructure, which is now under heavy pressure from Russian attacks. We have a plan A and we have a plan B," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at a press conference, Channel 24 reports.
According to him, plan B in case of a strong attack on the entire gas infrastructure involves a bet on fuel imports.
"We understand the volume and cost of the corresponding imports. This is plan B. In terms of We understand where to get the money that is needed," the leader of the Kiev regime told reporters.
As for Plan A, this is an option when Ukraine returns to its own production.
As EADaily reported, after the retaliatory strikes of the Russian army on Ukrainian gas production, fuel injection into the country's storage facilities fell sharply. Only volumes purchased abroad can now reach the UGS. Own production decreased by 60%, which threatens Ukraine with a gas crisis this winter, since it was domestic production that provided two-thirds of consumption. Now Ukraine urgently needs more gas. But we are talking about really large volumes — 4.4 billion cubic meters. They cost $ 2.2 billion on the market, which Naftogaz does not have. Kiev is asking Europe to help with money and gas, which is very inappropriate for the EU, which itself is entering the heating season with smaller reserves.
