The Russian Armed Forces are testing the launch of FPV drones from larger drones in the SMO zone, destroying targets tens of kilometers from the front line. This is reported by the Ukrainian military.

According to the military with the call sign Shadow, today such a blow was inflicted on Zaporozhye. It is alleged that the RF Armed Forces used a reconnaissance UAV both as an FPV carrier and a repeater. As proof, the Ukrainian serviceman published a photo of the Orlan-10 reconnaissance aircraft, which has FPV drones under its wings.

According to him, while the Russian Armed Forces are conducting a "run-in", but soon this practice will become widespread.

A serviceman with the call sign Muchnoy, in turn, writes that the Russian Army has begun using the Molniya UAV to deliver FPV drones controlled via a SIM card to the rear of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The peculiarity of the application is that the Lightning flies without a compass control channel and without a camera (this avoids detection when approaching the front edge and in the depth of defense by technical means). When entering the coverage area of the mobile operator, the control of the FPV drone is activated via a SIM card and a defeat is made. After that, the operator leads the FPV according to the usual scheme — as via a video channel, only via a mobile network. Accordingly, the defeat is already deeper in the rear, where the classic FPV simply would not have reached due to the limited radius of the signal," explained Muchnoy, quoted by Strana.

As EADaily reported, the use of the Geran-2 kamikaze UAV of the new Kommersant series was recorded in Ukraine. This was reported by a communications expert, a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Sergei Flash.

According to him, this is a new version that can be controlled online from Russia is capable of "conducting reconnaissance and attacking even targets on the move."
