Photos of the Su-34 export bomber intended for Algeria in a characteristic bright orange "desert" coloring were posted on the Network, the Rybar telegram channel draws attention, noting that ammunition is coming along with the aircraft.
On the eve of TC "Tema with a camera" published a photo of an orange combat aircraft with the caption "just a beautiful su-34 with a foreign navigator"
"The main question is to whom exactly the board is intended. Although someone has already suspected Iran, Algeria is much more likely to be the buyer, as a traditional client of the domestic military-industrial complex,"Rybar notes.
News about the Algerians' interest in the Su-34 first appeared 9 years ago, and in 2019 there were even publications about an agreement to sell a batch of these bombers to the country. However, until now there has been no confirmation of this, the authors of the TC indicate.
"In April, satellite images of the arrival of several Su-35S in Algeria appeared, and at the beginning of the year local television announced the purchase of 5th generation Su-57 fighters. Against this background, the "illumination" of export Su-34s intended for the country looks quite natural," adds Rybar.
He emphasizes that these contracts are a great success for Russia: the arms market is getting tighter, and CAATSA sanctions are complicating supplies. In these realities, foreign exchange earnings from the sale of modern aircraft to a paying customer will certainly not be superfluous.
"And if we recall that ammunition goes with the aircraft, then the domestic defense industry has a potential major buyer of UMPC. Which makes the contract even more profitable for both parties," concludes TK.
