Russian Leader Vladimir Putin has signed a law that introduces new state duties for migrants from September 1.
Thus, the state duty for registration of a foreign citizen at the place of residence is introduced, the amount of the state duty for registration of a foreigner at the place of residence is increased.
As indicated, these measures are important, on the one hand, to strengthen control over the stay of foreigners in In Russia, many are still in the country illegally. On the other hand, it will allow government agencies to compensate for the actual costs associated with the registration and issuance of a patent.
The authorities expect that the renewal of state duties will encourage migrants themselves to be more responsible about documents and their validity periods, TASS reports.
