Russia is going to launch up to 2 thousand drones in Ukraine at the same time, while the supply of components for drones from China to Ukraine has almost stopped. This was stated by Major General of the Bundeswehr Christian Freudding.
"For example, until recently — until a few weeks or months ago — Ukraine received components for its drones, its production chain of drones. Now the situation is such that China, in fact, exports exclusively to Russia, and Ukraine is excluded from this market. We see the effect of this in Russia, because the production of Russian drones is scaling up there," Christian Freudding said in an interview on the Bundeswehr YouTube channel, writes Strana.ua.
According to the German general, Russia is rapidly increasing the production of drones, which has already become a challenge for the Ukrainian air defense.
He believes that the APU needs inexpensive means of defeating drones — at a cost of 2-4 thousand euros.
