The Transcaucasian highway connecting South Ossetia with North Ossetia is closed for the movement of vehicles until further notice, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia reported on July 15 at 21.40.
Earlier it became known that a mudslide occurred on the northern portal of the Ruk tunnel, near the village of Buron, but the road remained open to traffic.
The road services carried out work on clearing the roadbed from the descended mud masses.
