The task of US President Donald Trump is to keep Russia in check so that it does not attack Poland. This was stated by the country's President Andrzej Duda.

"There is no respect for human life in Russia, as in our countries or in Western Europe. Therefore, there is a question of how to stop Russia. In my opinion, this is a huge task facing US President Donald Trump and America. Today, all over the world, only the United States has such a resource that is certainly capable of containing Russia. To restrain Russian imperialism, to keep it in check is the most important thing, because everyone is afraid of it. And as the late Polish President Lech Kaczynski said, unfortunately, 'Today it's Georgia, maybe tomorrow it's Ukraine, then maybe the Baltic countries, and then it will be the turn of my country, Poland,'" said Duda, quoted by Rossiya-1 presenter Olga Skabeeva.
