The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, reacted to the statement of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan about his readiness to show proof that he was not circumcised.
Earlier, the head of the Armenian Cabinet offered Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II to accept him and demonstrate proof that he was not circumcised.
"Is that the only way to define it?" — Zakharova said on Sputnik radio.
She noted that "this is incredible" and recalled another incredible statement by the Armenian Prime minister.
"Can you imagine that a few years ago, that someone, being an Armenian citizen, on the territory of Armenia, of course, an Armenian by nationality, could say that there was no Armenian Genocide? And suddenly now the person who is the head of state says that there was no such genocide in general. I could not imagine such a thing," Maria Zakharova summed up.
