The time has come for the Iranian people to unite and stand up for freedom, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a video message posted on the telegram channel.
"Now is your chance to stand up and make your voice heard," Netanyahu stressed, urging Iranians to fight against the "evil oppressor regime."
According to the Israeli prime minister, the Iranian regime "has never been so weak." He added that he supports the "proud people" of Iran in the struggle for freedom.
"The people of Israel are with you," Netanyahu said.
Israel decided to carry out strikes on Iran's nuclear program facilities back in November 2024 and planned an attack on April 2025, the Israeli Prime Minister said earlier, commenting on Operation Rising Lion launched on the night of June 13 against Iran. The IDF attacked nuclear, military facilities and locations of high-ranking military personnel.
According to Netanyahu, the Israeli operation against Iran will last "as long as it takes."
"Iran still has significant opportunities to harm us, and we have prepared for this too," he added.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced on the evening of June 13 that a retaliatory operation was beginning against Israel. Iran has launched at least two rocket launches into Israeli territory and launched less than 100 surface-to-surface missiles, the IDF said. About 50 people were injured as a result of Iran's retaliatory strike.
