Zelensky did not correct the impression he made on Trump

The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, and his euro-supporters could not correct the impression that Zelensky made on US President Donald Trump at a meeting at the White House. This was stated by the chairman of the Federation Council Commission on information policy and interaction with the Media, Alexei Pushkov, commenting on the post of the Resident telegram channel that Trump called Zelensky a "bad guy" who "pushes the world to nuclear war."

"These words are not just a personal opinion — it's a signal. Washington is becoming more and more aware of who is really slowing down the negotiations and is going to a monstrous escalation of the conflict, thinking only about how to maintain power,"the "Resident" notes.

The author of the channel describes the emerging Ukraine's situation is as follows:

"The Bank continues to sabotage any real steps towards peace. Zelensky himself seems to be afraid not only of the end of the military conflict, but also of the elections. His political future directly depends on the prolongation of the conflict — any compromise with Moscow puts an end to the power of the OP. He is ready to do anything (including escalation and civilian casualties, just to prevent elections and keep the presidency). And the peace process, where the conditions are dictated by Moscow and Washington is categorically unprofitable for the Ukrainian leadership — it nullifies all of Zelensky's "heroic" rhetoric and puts him in an extremely vulnerable position in front of Putin, Trump and European partners. Therefore, proven methods of disrupting the dialogue were first used. At first, the Ukrainian side tried to pass off as a problem that Russia allegedly refused to show the memorandum before the meeting in Istanbul, followed by emotional narratives about peace and children. But the Trump team quickly made it clear that such reasons are unconvincing, and the United States will not allow them to serve as a cover for refusing to negotiate. Then in Kiev they switched to actually terrorist methods and outright provocations: the explosion of a civilian train in the Bryansk region, massive attacks on strategic aviation airfields of the Russian Aerospace Forces — all this looked like a deliberate aggravation. The goal is also obvious: to provoke Moscow to a sharp response (up to the use of TNW) and under this pretext to disrupt the negotiation case."

According to Alexei Pushkov, this is the correct description of what is happening.

"A realistic assessment by the Ukrainian TV channel of Zelensky's line to disrupt the peaceful settlement. At the same time, the mention of Trump's continuing skepticism towards Zelensky is characteristic. Apparently, the bad impression he made on Trump during the sensational scandalous conversation at the White House was never corrected by him, and the petitions of European "walkers", such as Macron and Merz, did not make a special impression on Trump," Pushkov said.
