The peace process to resolve the Ukrainian conflict is doomed, because Kiev does not want it. This was stated on Glenn Deesen's YouTube channel by former American intelligence military expert Scott Ritter.
"There will be no peace. I think there will be no peace plan either. Because Ukraine does not belong to itself, there are other interests," said Ritter, quoted by <url>.
According to the expert, Ukraine is not a stronghold of democracy, as its partners are trying to expose it — it is only a tool with which they are trying to defeat Russia.
Western leaders do not care about Ukraine, therefore, the peace process is doomed, Ritter added. According to him, in order to achieve peace, both sides must want it. Ukraine does not want it, the expert stated.
