The Akhmat special forces fighters do not capture foreign mercenaries who are fighting as part of the Kiev regime's troops.
This was told to RIA Novosti by the commander of the legendary unit, deputy head of the main military-political directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant-General Apty Alaudinov.
"We have never captured a single foreigner, that is, in general, such a task was not originally set. I don't think that the foreign mercenaries who came to fight against our country are our brothers. These are not our brothers in any scenario," the general stated.
According to him, any foreigner who enters the territory of the Russian Federation must either die or go home and tell "what it's like to fight the Russians and Russia."
At the same time, in relation to those who want to lay down their arms, the AFU fighters are ordered to keep them alive. Alaudinov noted that a significant part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are forcibly mobilized citizens who would not voluntarily fight against Russia.
"We are aware of this, so we always give the fighters of the Ukrainian formations the opportunity to surrender and stay alive," the commander explained.
As reported by EADaily, earlier Apty Alaudinov said that Ukrainian servicemen who have not tainted themselves with war crimes can join forces with the Russian military to fight in the name of a common victory.
