A telephone conversation between the Presidents of the United States and Russia Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin. It is reported by Reuters with reference to the White House.
"A White House spokesman said the call had already begun. Putin spoke from the Russian Black Sea resort of Sochi, while Trump was in Washington," the agency reports.
Shortly before this call, US Vice President Jay Dee Vance told reporters: Washington recognizes that the issue of ending the war has reached an impasse, and eventually the United States may have to declare that this is not their war, the agency notes.
