Pakistan strikes back at Indian territory

According to the newspaper, the Pakistani army is striking India in response to the operation conducted by the Indian military.

"I want to say that Pakistan is currently retaliating," the newspaper quoted the head of the interdepartmental Public Relations Service (ISPR) as saying Pakistan Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry.

On the night of May 7, the Indian armed forces launched Operation Sindur and struck nine targets in Pakistan and the Pakistani-controlled part of the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. As stated in the department, the strikes were carried out in places "from where terrorist attacks against India were planned and directed."
