The chairman of the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation, director and actor Nikita Mikhalkov will hand over to the needs of a special military operation an American Marlin Model 55 rifle, which was donated by former Russian Prime Minister Viktor Chernomyrdin. The director told about this in his program "Besogon TV".

In the video, Mikhalkov showed a Marlin Model 55 Goose Gun with a caliber of 18.5 mm.

"This gun from my gun collection is designed for very long-range shooting. It was given to me by an avid hunter Viktor Stepanovich Chernomyrdin. I think he wouldn't be offended because I want to present him to the front," Mikhalkov believes.

According to the director, "the American gun will successfully shoot down drones."

As reported by EADaily, Mikhalkov previously said that those who left Russian cultural figures who speak ill of their native country should not be allowed back into the Russia, they should also be deprived of state awards.
