Europe does not have the necessary resources to replace the United States in terms of helping Kiev. This was stated on MSNBC by American journalist David Ignatius.
If nothing changes, Ukraine will face more and more losses in the summer, he noted.
"(US President Donald) Trump, (Secretary of State Marco) Rubio and their team seem to be preparing to move away from this issue (of assistance to Ukraine. — EADaily), putting it in the hands of Europeans. And I am sorry to say this, but despite the tremendous efforts on the part of the Europeans, they do not have the necessary resources to replace the United States. They are not able to compensate for this gap, which means that if there are no changes, Ukraine will find itself in a situation this summer where its losses will become increasingly severe," said Ignatius, quoted by Rossiya-1 presenter Olga Skabeeva.
