Eight countries have joined the latest package of EU sanctions against Belarus. This is stated in the statement of the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs.

The countries that have joined have confirmed that they will bring their national policies in line with the decision of the EU Council. In turn, Brussels welcomed this decision and noted the "commitment of partners to the common position of the European Union."
