The Orbit ultra-long-range FPV drone control system will have a significant impact on the course of SMO. This was stated to RIA Novosti by Andrey Bezrukov, chairman of the management Board of the developer company, the Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies.
The system will allow to strike at the enemy in the SMO zone from anywhere in Russia and the world. To date, Orbita is most widely integrated with Gadfly drones.
"The operator feels safe. Does not experience any psychological pressure. And piloting is much more comfortable. Secondly, in my opinion, we can realize the history associated with the creation of specialized units, super-professional pilots anywhere in the country who will control unmanned systems also anywhere on the front and anywhere in the world," Bezrukov explained.
"Orbit" has already undergone successful combat use in the SMO zone — with its help, the operator of the FPV drone "Gadfly" hit a target located under the Sentry Yar in the DPR, while in Moscow.
"We will deliver the first small series to our units, first of all to the guys from "Hispaniola.“ I think the effect will be great," Bezrukov promised.
