German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbok refused to claim co-chairmanship in the parliamentary faction of the Greens.
In an open letter, Burbok explained his move for "personal reasons."
"For several years of intensive work in politics, I had to pay a high price in my personal life. All this time I have always given my all to work. Therefore, for personal reasons, I decided to take a step back from the bright spotlight," the minister wrote.
Reuters in this regard recalled that Berbok's marriage broke up last year. At the same time, the tabloid media wrote about a certain affair with a brutal African, to whom Annalena Berbok flew at a budget expense.
