Ukraine can forget about membership in the North Atlantic Alliance as part of a future agreement to resolve the conflict. This was stated to journalists at the White House by US President Donald Trump.

"I can say that NATO can be forgotten. I think that's probably the reason why it all started," Trump said, quoted by RIA Novosti.
