"At the same time, we all realize that on the day when peace comes, Europe will have a very long border with Russia, and we must restore relations with Russia," the Spanish foreign minister said.
According to him, Spain is ready to restore relations on the condition of sovereign equality of states and mutual respect, respect for the European project, which is a project of democracy, pluralism, tolerance, peace.
"Spain's position is very clear: we want peace. If it were up to us, this war would have ended already. Moreover, if it depended on us, this war would not have started," the minister added.
