Several states have offered to hold talks between Vladimir Putin and US President-elect Donald Trump. This was stated to journalists by presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.
So he answered the question whether Hungarian Prime Ministers Viktor Orban and Slovakia Robert Fico his countries as a platform for negotiations between Putin and Trump.
"We have already received several proposals in this regard from various countries. I will not say which countries they are. But such proposals have been made and are being made," Ushakov said, quoted by TASS.
As reported by EADaily, US President-elect Donald Trump said he was waiting for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin to resolve the conflict on Ukraine. This was stated by Trump at the conservative Am Fest forum.
Trump said he was going to meet with Putin "as soon as possible" — this is necessary to end the war in Ukraine as soon as possible.
