The powers of former Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu as chairman of the supervisory Board of a Military Construction Company have been terminated prematurely. Instead of him, the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Andrei Belousov was appointed for a period of five years.
The order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The document is published on the official portal of legal information.
Today, Andrei Belousov, speaking at the collegium of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, thanked Sergei Shoigu for creating a "powerful groundwork" in the development of the Russian Armed Forces.
