Donald Trump, who won the US presidential election, on Saturday appointed 27-year-old Caroline Levitt, who was previously responsible for communications with the press in his election campaign, as the future White House press secretary.
"Today, the 45th and 47th US President Donald Trump announced that Carolyn Levitt will become the White House press Secretary. Carolyn was the national press secretary for the Trump campaign and previously worked in the Trump White House as an assistant press secretary," the statement said.
