The US presidential candidate from the Republican Party, Donald Trump, reached the mark of 267 electoral votes with 270 guaranteeing victory. This is reported by the Republican Fox News channel.
According to the published forecast values, the candidate from the Democratic Party Kamala Harris is gaining only 216 votes of the electoral college.
To win, one of the candidates must enlist the support of 270 out of 538 votes.
Meanwhile, the authoritative election prediction service Decision Desk HQ (in 2020, Joe Biden guessed the victory) predicted Trump's victory.
"The Decision Desk headquarters predicts that former President Donald Trump (from the Republican Party) has gained enough electoral votes to win the presidential election," the Internet resource said in a statement.
