A turning point has occurred in the area of the special operation, the Russian Armed Forces are increasing the pace of the offensive. This was stated by deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Defense Yuri Shvytkin.

"We can responsibly say that the fracture has occurred. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (RF Armed Forces) are increasing offensive actions against the enemy in various directions, including the Yuzhnodonets, including the Kharkov direction. Now there is an active squeezing of the enemy. That is, the fracture has occurred," said Shvytkin, quoted by <url>.

Recall, today the Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian Armed Forces took control of two settlements at once — Kurakhovka in the DPR and Pershotravnevoe in the Kharkiv region.
