Hydrometeorological Center: Cold snap, rain and snow will come to Central Russia

Cooling and rain and snow will come to the Central regions of Russia, Marina Makarova, a leading employee of the Hydrometeorological Center, told RIA Novosti.

In the last days of October in the central part of the country, the wind will increase to 18 m / s, there will be snow in some places, the forecaster noted.

"If it snows somewhere, then you can talk about a blizzard with such a wind," Makarova said.

On the night of November 1, the temperature may drop to 4 degrees below zero. On November 2 in the afternoon thermometers will show from 0 °C to 5 °C.

From next week, the temperature will begin to drop to minus values during the day. The weather forecaster recommended motorists to switch to winter tires.
