Russian performer Egor Creed (Egor Bulatkin) has changed his stage name. He announced this in a video on his YouTube channel.
The video was published under the title "I am no longer Egor Creed! Did they take the name from Egor Creed?".
According to the artist, now he will perform under the name Egor Split. Information about it has also been updated on streaming services. On his page the name Egor Split (Creed) is now indicated.
The artist wrote extensively about the reasons for the need to change his name in his telegram channel.
"I didn't think I would have to do this, but... the campaign will have to change my name for a while while I sort out the documents," he wrote.
As reported by EADaily, in August of this year, Split said that he had to pay a fine after a too loud concert in Moscow.
"You see, there is a law of silence. And some man who lives nearby filed a statement that, you see, my concert prevented him from sleeping at 23.30. And I was fined," the musician said.
