Residents of Ukraine are obliged to pay for heating, even if they do not use it. This was stated on the air of the Kiev-24 channel by an expert in the housing and utilities sector, Kristina Nenno.
"Even if you don't use heating in batteries, if everything is zero for you, you have to pay for the maintenance of pipes, let's say," Nenno said.
This corresponds to the current legislation, the expert stressed. According to her, depending on the type of house, the fee can be either 10 hryvnia or 1,500.
