After the Kursk adventure, Russia will not want to negotiate with the United States and Ukraine. This was stated on the YouTube channel Deep Dive by the former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, Colonel Douglas McGregor.
"The main news that they don't want to understand in any way Washington, is that the Russia no longer wants to negotiate with us. It's over, it's over. This war will end on terms that suit Moscow," said McGregor, quoted by RIA Novosti.
The interests of the United States in the settlement of the conflict will not be taken into account, he said.
"President Putin realized that there are no people in the West with whom it is possible to negotiate rationally," the colonel stressed.
As reported by EADaily, no one should have doubted Russia's readiness for peace talks with Ukraine, but Kiev's adventure in the Kursk region made them irrelevant, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at a joint press conference following talks with Senegalese Foreign Minister Yasin Fall.
