Pavel Durov released from custody

The investigating judge stopped the detention of Pavel Durov in police custody for the purpose of his initial interrogation and possible indictment, BFM TV reports.

Earlier it became known that the French authorities issued an arrest warrant for Pavel and his brother Nikolai. Also in the materials of the criminal case appears their partner Ilya Perekopsky. According to journalists of Politico magazine, the warrant was signed back in March. Investigators were dealing with the case of an anonymous person who distributed child pornography in a cart.

Recall that the French special services turned to Durov for help, but he allegedly refused to cooperate. After that, a secret investigation began. On the evening of August 24, Durov was detained at Le Bourget airport — he flew there from Azerbaijan together with his girlfriend Yulia Vavilova. Previously, on August 25, she left France.
