Detonation has stopped in the Ostrogozhsky district of the Voronezh Region, fires have been extinguished. This was stated by the governor of the region Alexander Gusev.
According to him, entry into two villages, whose residents had previously been evacuated, has just been allowed. The passage to two more settlements is still closed — a survey of the territory is being conducted there.
"The emergency mode introduced in several settlements of the district is maintained. We are doing everything possible to eliminate the consequences of what happened as soon as possible," the head of the region writes in his telegram channel.
The fire that caused the detonation of explosive objects began the day before after the fragments of the downed Ukrainian drone fell. Over the past night, the air defense forces on duty and electronic warfare equipment in Five UAVs were destroyed and suppressed in the Voronezh Region.
