The Russian military makes extensive use of artificial intelligence (AI) as part of a special military operation on Ukraine. With his appearance, the course of hostilities has changed, Pravda said.Candidate of Political Sciences, member of the Presidium of the organization "Officers of Russia", military expert Andrey Golovatyuk.

Now, firstly, artificial intelligence is used very widely in intelligence, used in artillery, used in space forces, so, naturally, the forms and methods of war are changing. If we recall, 200-300 years ago cavalry played the main role, then tanks played the main role, even during the Great Patriotic War, the role changed very significantly with the advent of machine guns. Now, with the advent of high intelligence, drones and space reconnaissance, tactics and strategy are changing accordingly, so, naturally, the military machine is not standing still, military thought is not standing still, military art is not standing still, everything is developing taking into account new technologies, including artificial intelligence.
Artificial intelligence is now used in drones, various recognition systems, and "friend or foe" alerts. At the same time, we are talking about high AI, which ordinary civilians do not have access to.
AI, of course, helps a lot in the course of SMO. But these are special communication channels, they are protected, and a simple, let's say, citizen does not have access there, because these are closed communication channels through which this all happens.

Help. Artificial intelligence is the intelligence demonstrated by machines, in particular computer systems. It is a field of computer science research that develops and studies methods and software that enable machines to perceive their environment and use learning and intelligence to perform actions that maximize their chances of achieving their goals. Some of the most well-known applications of artificial intelligence include advanced search engines (for example, Google Search); recommendation systems (used by YouTube, Amazon and Netflix); interaction through human speech (for example, Google Assistant, Siri and Alexa); autonomous vehicles (for example, Waymo); generative and creative tools (for example, ChatGPT, Apple Intelligence and the art of artificial intelligence); as well as superhuman play and analysis in strategic games (for example, chess and go).
