After the invasion of Ukraine in the Kursk region, there can be no negotiations with Kiev. This was announced today, August 19, by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin.
"The President said this very clearly that after the attacks on the Kursk region began, not even attacks, but invasions of the territory of the Kursk region, there can be no talk of any negotiations. And the president also said a very important phrase that I would pay attention to: "we will certainly assess this situation a little later," Lavrov said.
As EADaily reported, at 5.30 am on August 6, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched an offensive in the Kursk region.
