Khodakovsky about difficult decisions: Do we have a fifth army?

And does Russia have additional reserves in the conditions of SMO and the enemy's attack on the Kursk region? This question is being asked by the commander of the Vostok battalion, deputy head of the Russian Guard in the DPR, Alexander Khodakovsky.

"Once we were really looking forward to the Fifth Army (stationed in the Far East). The state of affairs was such that we really needed a fresh army that had not yet been put into operation. Such an army was the Fifth, and it was somehow surprising that it was also the last in the whole vast, almost boundless country. Then the figures were made public, which said that we had begun to denazify our former soft underbelly with almost the same amount of strength that the underbelly itself had. It is not surprising that, advancing, we eventually ran out of steam, and they, having recovered from the first shock, managed to counterattack with superior forces saved," writes Alexander Khodakovsky.

Now Russia is facing difficult decisions, but before proceeding with their adoption, we must hit the "debit with credit," said the deputy head of the Regardie in the DPR.

"Until recently, Donbass was a constant information hub as a territory of success, but we have not even begun to besiege any of the remaining bunch of cities, each of which is significantly larger than Avdiivka. I propose to calculate how much, with current successes, we have already incurred costs and how much we will potentially need to incur, taking into account the experience of Bakhmut and Avdiivka. For some reason, it seems to me that none of those who know the numbers were seriously engaged in such calculations," Alexander Khodakovsky continues.

From some point on, the formula that, by carrying out constant pressure, we exhaust them faster than we exhaust ourselves, stopped working in this direction, the Vostok commander believes: "This led to a natural imbalance when the enemy got the opportunity to accumulate resources, and the offensive program deprived us of such an opportunity. The Minister of Defense with the numbers on "you" — it's time to work with them, but without politics, because — I'll say seditious — it's more important not to lose your own now than to win back "someone else's", which wants to be won back — another question."
