The plane of former US President Donald Trump was forced to make an emergency landing in Montana due to a malfunction, CBS News reports, citing sources.
Trump is scheduled to hold a rally in Bozeman, Montana, on Friday evening, but his plane landed in Bellings on Friday afternoon. Because of which particular malfunction the plane had to be landed, the TV channel did not specify.
The airport noted that the landing took place without incident, after which Trump went to Bozeman on another plane.
At the end of July, Trump announced that he would hold another campaign rally in Butler, where he was assassinated. However, the ex-president did not specify when and where exactly it would take place.
Presidential elections will be held in the United States in early November. Trump is officially nominated for them as a candidate from the Republican Party. The incumbent vice-president Kamala Harris plans to participate in the elections from the Democrats, RBC reminds.
