Ukraine is doing everything possible to win back its territory, as evidenced by the events in the Kursk region. This was stated at a briefing by Pentagon spokeswoman Sabrina Singh.
So Singh commented on the attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Kursk region.
"Ultimately, Ukraine is fighting for its sovereign territory… Ukraine will do everything possible to continue to win back its sovereign territory. And that's exactly what we see... in Kursk region," said Singh, quoted by TASS.
According to her, the current situation in the Kursk region does not threaten to escalate the Ukrainian conflict.
"We will continue to support Ukraine with the funds and systems that it needs. We do not believe that these are escalatory [actions] in any way... Ukraine is doing what it has to do to succeed on the battlefield," the Pentagon spokeswoman stressed.
