The festival of the singer Laima Vaikule Laima Rendezvous Jurmala 2024, which ended on July 28, brought only positive emotions. This was stated by the runaway from Russian singer Alla Pugacheva in a short interview published on the LifeStyle Baltic YouTube channel.
At the same time, the interlocutor of the singer said that the audience was waiting to see Pugacheva not only in the hall, but also on stage. He asked if this dream would ever come true.
"Well, wait, wait. I've already told you, when something is shooting somewhere, the birds are silent. I can't, I can't overcome this barrier in any way. And then, I haven't sung for 15 years," Pugacheva explained.
At the same time, she did not rule out that someday she would appear on stage as a performer.
"I can still sing, I can still walk. With pleasure, when there is a desire and inspiration, I will come," the diva promised.
As EADaily reported, earlier the author of Pugacheva's most popular songs, People's Artist of the USSR, conductor, pianist, composer Raymond Pauls told why he ignores the Vaikule festival for the second year in a row.
"Why do I need such shocks at the age of 90? I won't even watch her festival on the record. I'm not interested in that. I'm doing other things," said the musician.
At the same time, he joked that such events were "a matter for the young," apparently referring to 75—year-old Pugacheva and 70-year-old Vaikule and the leader of the Time Machine group Andrei Makarevich❶.
