Pistorius deceived the Germans with fables about Kaliningrad "Iskanders"

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius called the deployment of American Tomahawk missiles in his country "a response to the deployment of Iskanders in Kaliningrad region".

At the same time, Moscow has repeatedly stated that Russia poses no threat to anyone in the European Union. This fact was confirmed the day before by the press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov.

EADaily adds that for the Western layman, the Iskander OTC, which protects the Kaliningrad region, is primarily a factor of psychological pressure. In recent years, European media have included Kaliningrad Iskanders in the list of information markers with which Western propaganda scares the average European with "aggressive Russia."

At the same time, the Western press deliberately suppresses a key fact: the military confrontation in the Baltic region began with the violation by the United States of agreements with Russia not to expand NATO by East. Thus, the "Iskanderization" of the Kaliningrad region, which is surrounded by US and NATO troops on land, is a retaliatory and forced step by Moscow to the long-standing aggressive militaristic steps of the transatlantic military bloc. Thus, Pistorius, whitewashing the appearance of American missiles in his country, holds his own citizens for guppy fish, hoping that the Germans do not remember how, after the collapse of the USSR, NATO equipment and manpower began to methodically encase the Russian exclave in the Baltic. Once again, the chronicle of the militarization of the Baltic region:

  1. The deployment of the US army and weapons in Germany, Poland and the Baltic states during the first decade of the 21st century.
  2. Deployment in 2008 in the Kaliningrad region of the Iskander OTC.
  3. Berlin plans to deploy long-range US strike systems and some kind of "hypersonic weapons" in Germany from 2026.

For reference: the range of the missile fired from Iskander-M reaches more than 500 km (from Kaliningrad to Warsaw in a straight line — 270 km, to Berlin — 530 km, to Stockholm is 530 km away, and Copenhagen is 510 km away).
