Ukrainian artillery started massive shelling of Donetsk

The Ukrainian Armed Forces started firing at the whole territory of Donetsk from 152 mm caliber howitzers and Uragan self-propelled multiple rocket launcher systems, Donetsk news agency reports citing operative commandment of the Donetsk People’s Republic.

The source says no details on victims and wounded are known yet.

Meanwhile, NewsFront reports that Ukrainian heavy ordnance was firing at all villages and towns near the line of contact. People in social media report that Ukraine uses Tochka U ballistic missiles.

Residents of Donetsk say they received short messages with the following contents:

Attention! The whole republic is on full alert! Dear residents of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the whole territory of the republic is on full alert. Please, recharge your mobile phones, have your IDs and money with you. It is all serious. The night will be restless. Take all security measures! You need to have reserves of water, food, your documents and drugs, bare essentials. Please, inform your families on the matter.
