Russian President Vladimir Putin has commanded to start from March 15 withdrawing most part of the Russian troops from Syria, press office of the Kremlin informs.
During a meeting with Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu, the Russian president said that task set before the defense ministry were mostly completed. “Thus, I order to start pulling out most our troops from the Syrian Arab Republic,” Putin said.
The president also told the foreign ministry to intensify participation of Russia in organizing the peace process in Syria.
