During the last meeting of Russia’s Security Council, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov reported to President Vladimir Putin on the last round of the Normandy Four talks in Paris.
According to Putin’s Spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Lavrov made a detailed report on the meeting. He expressed regret that Ukraine is still not ready for a dialogue with Donbass.
But the key topic of the meeting, according to Lavrov, was the scandal caused by the reports that the US special services tap the phones of the French leaders.
Present at the meeting of Russia’s Security Council were also Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Head of the Kremlin Administration Sergey Ivanov, ministers Vladimir Kolokoltsev and Sergey Shoygu, chiefs of the Federal Security Service and the Foreign Intelligence Service Alexander Bortniklov and Mikhail Fradkov.
