Following bilateral talks of President of Russia Vladimir Putin and President of Argentina Cristina Fernández de Kirchner in Moscow, an action plan on development of comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and Argentina was signed.
The document was signed by Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship Hector Timerman. In addition, Defense Minister of Russia Sergei Shoygu and Defense Minister of Argentina Agustín Rossi signed an agreement of bilateral military cooperation. Russian president’s aide Yuri Ushakov explained the document sets the parameters and major areas of the bilateral military cooperation.
The two countries signed a program of cooperation in the field of culture and art for 2016-2018. The document was inked by Minister of Culture of Russia Vladimir Medinskiy and his Argentinean counterpart Teresa Sellarés.
