Today, on March 27, Russian President Vladimir Putin has had a phone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, press office of the Kremlin informs.
They discussed key issues of the Russian-Israeli relations. As a result, the parties expressed mutual willingness for further intensification of the relations in various fields including the humanitarian field, first of all in the context of the 70th anniversary of the World War II Victory, the statement says.
“While exchanging opinions on vital issues of the region they paid special attention to the Middle-East settlement as well as questions regarding the negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program,” the Kremlin informs.
“The both parties expressed concern over the drastic escalation of the conflict in Yemen. The Russian leader stressed importance of stepping up efforts of the international community aimed at peaceful and lasting settlement in the country.”
